USCIS's Guide to Naturalization (M-476), revised 12/2011 is released.

A revised edition of the Civics and Citizenship Toolkit is now available. The Toolkit contains a selection of civics and naturalization-focused educational materials to help organizations begin or enhance a collection of resources for immigrants. In its second edition, the Civics and Citizenship Toolkit now offers updated information and expanded content including:

• A short film about the naturalization process and test

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the launch of an enhanced Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and a redesigned Form N-560, Certificate of Citizenship, with new features to enhance security and deter fraud. As part ongoing efforts by USCIS to enhance the integrity of the immigration system, the state-of-the-art technology incorporated into the new documents will deter counterfeiting, obstruct tampering, and facilitate quick and accurate authentication. The agency anticipates that more than 1 million people will receive the new documents over the next year. Read the fact sheet for redesigned N-560.
